- When you apply for an account over the Internet or by any other means, we must collect certain personal information in order to process your application. We may retain this information so that we can provide the products and services you request. Some of this information may also be handled by our vendors and service companies ( for example, Charter’s bill paying service needs specific data to implement your electronic bill payments and provide certain internet banking services).
